Pom Pom Squad’s sophomore album, Mirror Starts Moving Without Me, came out last Friday.
You can read about, listen to, and/or purchase the album (in digital and/or physical form) on Bandcamp.
I had the pleasure of working on various visual elements for the album, which I started shooting over a year ago and wrapped up during the summer. These elements include the album’s front and back covers, packaging materials for the vinyl and CD, press images, and a couple of short form videos/visualizers. I had a blast working on this, partly because my inspirations and Mia’s inspirations overlapped here and it shows— there were references to Alice in Wonderland, Satoshi Kon (particularly Perfect Blue), Sailor Moon, all my favorite things. In my last post, I shared the front and back covers for the album, but now that the album is officially out, I wanted to share more photos and video from the project.
